PERSONAL PERSPECTIVE

Peggy Walsh and five others enjoyed a delightful exploration at the Children's museum. "The first feature was a visit to the Saturday Light Brigade studio, where Larry Berger showed us microphones and other fancy equipment. Ed Reid tried his luck at auditioning for comedian. Don Ciccone taught us about sailboats by making one from recycled materials. (This editor does not know if it was able to float). People tried to build as tall a building with blocks as possible. Thanks to all who helped and guided us".

Nancy Leverett spoke about the swimming activity: "I thought swimming was very successful. The pool and pool area were nice and warm and there were lots of floaty things and Tammi got a swimming lesson from our very nice life guard Luke. There were 5 swimmers, and we had pizza afterward! We were the only people in the school except the guard and he did everything he could to be helpful and told us he was glad we were there so he had company."

BOLD BITS

March's meal at the Lutheran Center for the blind will be on Saturday the 25th from 5 to 7 PM. To sign up for that meal during the week before Saturday the 18th, phone Center Director Sherri Crum: 412-682-1800. The attendance limit is 25 blind or visual impaired persons.

Happy Birthday to Nancy Gilmore, Marcy Loughner, Jeff Mulkern, Diane Popoleo, Ed Reid, Tammi Swiantek, Jim Winaught, Terri Winaught, and anyone else with a March birthday.

Thank you to everyone whose hard work makes BOLD Ventures possible.
