PERSONAL PERSPECTIVE

From Veronique Schreurs, hike leader of our hike on April 22.

“We were planning to go to Frick Park, but since we were a small group I drove us all to Braddock’s Trail Park in North Huntington, PA. The blue-eyed marys were in full bloom and were giving the impression of a carpet of light blue snow everywhere. Marty and Tammi came, Xiaoping and I were guiding. People were delighted by the quiet stillness of the woods, and the tinkling sound of little waterfalls and the song of birds. It was nice to get away from the noisy city! We had a great time.”
