Pairs of paddlers sit facing forward on bench seats in the boat. A drummer keeps everyone paddling at the same rate, while a steerer keeps the boat on course. We will learn the basic paddling technique and get to test our new skills. No prior experience required. You may get splashed by fellow paddlers, so consider bringing dry clothes/shoes. IN SEARCH OF: A Photographer or Two

BOLD is looking for one or two volunteer photographers to take pictures at our events for posting on our website and Facebook page. We want to let the world see how much fun we have! If you are interested call Nancy at 412-561-3972.

Many, many thanks! to Ray Jablonowski and the folks from Catholic Alumni for a fine picnic. Ray really found a good location, offered us some fun games—including bocce ball, hitting a ball off of a tee, “Screw Your Neighbor” and more—a good place to walk, and he did just fine on ordering up some beautiful weather! Also, a big thanks to Mitch and Missy for the delicious food which made the picnic complete! At the picnic, it was a lot of fun to meet new folks, talk with friends and try new games. We are a lucky group to have Ray as our dynamo friend and BOLD member. Thanks so much to Ray and his generous team!

THE END
